The path turns west again. Looking across the Eastshore Highway, we see the stairway to the sidewalk of the University Avenue overpass over I-80. Wheelchair users would have to turn back at this point. With no ramp at the crossing, most bicyclists would have to dismount, and so the stop sign is hardly necessary.
